Building Strong Minds and Faith-Filled Hearts
Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord! - Ephesians 5:19
I am so very excited to be returning to the St. Rose of Lima Music classroom this school year!
This year, we will learn to sing new songs, play a variety of classroom instruments, study notation & rhythm, and learn about important composers throughout history. We will do our best to answer questions such as: Where did music start? How old is music? What other kinds of instruments are there besides the traditional ones that we see and hear daily? We will cover all these topics and more!
I look forward to creating some beautiful music with our students this year.
I will teach the importance of Catholicism through liturgical music in my everyday classroom environment. I will share prayer videos, celebrate Catholic holidays through music, and prepare the children for monthly school liturgies.
When I am not teaching at school, I enjoy running with my daughter, playing cello with my son, going to the beach, going to mass with my family and playing piano.
I welcome the opportunity to inspire your children through music and look forward to the promising school year ahead!
